This is the standard sequence we follow. Stages can be skipped on programmes that have already done the equivalent work; they cannot be reordered without producing the bottlenecks we are paid to remove. Where a stage is genuinely optional, that is called out.

Operational Blind Spots

The map most operations teams operate against — the SOP — is rarely the map of how work actually flows. Steering meetings argue about whether process variations are bugs or features, and the argument goes around because there is no shared evidence base.

What the platform produces is not a map; it is a continuously refreshed view of execution, with every chart drillable to a case ID. The five-metric executive view sits on top, but the underlying data is open enough that an engineer or auditor can verify the numbers themselves.

Measured Improvement Outcomes

Improvements are recorded with audit trail and statistical significance. We refuse to call a within-noise change an improvement, even when it would be politically convenient. The trade-off is we report fewer wins; the upside is the ones we report survive review.

    Process Lab discovery

    Four facilitated sessions over four to six weeks bringing operations, IT, finance, and risk together. We agree on definitions, owners, metrics, and the open questions that need resolution before tooling is even relevant.

  2. 02

    Integration design sprint

    A two-week paired engagement between our data integration engineer and your platform owners. We design the extraction pattern from your in-scope systems and produce an estimate with low / likely / high bands so your team can plan against the realistic upper bound.

  3. 03

    Atlas baseline deployment

    We deploy the discovery platform on the agreed scope and produce a first navigable map within two to three weeks. The first week typically surfaces data quality issues that your team will need to acknowledge — we plan for that rather than pretending the data is clean.

  4. 04

    Bottleneck and conformance overlay

    On top of the baseline we add the throughput analyser and, where compliance scope requires it, the conformance lens. Output is a prioritised intervention list with sensitivity analysis showing which queue would matter most to remove.

  5. 05

    Executive review and rhythm

    We commission the curated five-metric Operations Insight dashboard for your steering committee, run a guided first review, and hand the cadence to your team. The quarterly review service is optional; many clients run it themselves after the first cycle.
