Description

The Process Lab is delivered as a four-session facilitated programme — usually one session per week — that brings operations, IT, finance, and risk together to agree on shared process definitions, owners, and metrics. It is designed to be the first step before licensing any tool, including ours. We are open about the conflict of interest and we have walked away from prospects whose programme would have been served better by an internal review than by purchasing software.

What is included

  • Four facilitated sessions over four to six weeks
  • Process definition canvas (owner, metric, exception path, data source)
  • Joint operations / IT alignment exercises
  • Output pack: definitions, owners, candidate metrics, open questions
  • Optional follow-on tool readiness assessment

What you can expect from this engagement

  1. 01 A signed-off process definition shared by operations and IT
  2. 02 A documented set of owners and metric responsibilities
  3. 03 An evidence-based decision on whether to proceed with tooling, internal work, or neither

Three questions buyers actually ask

Do we have to license your platform after the lab?

No. The lab is sold as a standalone engagement and a meaningful share of past clients have proceeded without our platform.

How many participants per session?

Eight to twelve works well. Above fifteen the conversation fragments. We will push back if a sponsor wants to invite the whole department.

What if the sessions surface that we are not ready for any tooling?

That is a valid outcome and we document it as such. It has happened. We will not push tooling on a programme that is not ready for it.

What clients have said

  • We came expecting a software demo and left with our own internal disagreements resolved. That outcome was unexpected and useful.

  • Sessions ran long the first two weeks. The facilitator adjusted, and the last two were on time.

    A finance lead

  • Honest scoping conversation. They told us we were not ready for the platform and recommended a six-month internal step first.
